FeedBoss Documentation
Knowledge Base, Turn Notes, PDFs & Voice into Reusable Pages
Add voice memos, PDFs, and notes to the Knowledge Base. FeedBoss pulls out the key points, organises them into pages, and reuses them as context across posts, carousels, and chat.
The Knowledge Base is where everything you know lives so your content can reuse it. Add a source - a voice memo, a PDF, a note, or a whole spoken-out-loud conversation - and FeedBoss reads it, pulls out the key points, and files them into a clean, organised page. Those pages then feed in as trusted context when you generate posts, carousels, infographics, and chat replies.
Open it from the workspace sidebar (Knowledge base) or directly at /workspace/[id]/knowledge-base.
The building blocks
A few plain-language terms run through the whole feature:
- Page, the central unit. A page has a title, an optional topic, and your content organised into sections.
- Point, a single key idea FeedBoss extracted from a source. Points are grouped into sections, and each one links back to where it came from.
- Source, the original input you added - a voice memo, an audio file, a PDF, a note, or a talk-it-out session. The Sources rail on each page is numbered (1, 2, 3…), and those numbers are exactly what point citations refer to.
- Topic, a colour-coded tag for grouping related pages (for example Audience growth or Product insights).
Adding a source
Press Add source in the Knowledge Base header to open the composer. There are two paths.
Capture something you already have
One box accepts all three input types:
- Paste or type a note, drop in text up to the plan’s character limit.
- Upload a file, attach an audio file (mp3, wav, m4a, and more) or a PDF. PDF upload is a Pro feature.
- Record a voice memo, click the mic and talk, with a live waveform, a running timer, and pause/resume. Audio length limits depend on your plan.
When you submit, FeedBoss confirms with a short message (“We’re reading it now - your page fills in here within a minute”) and gets to work. You don’t wait on a spinner: the page appears in your library and fills in automatically as processing finishes. If you open a brand-new page before it’s ready, you’ll see a “Reading your source…” state that resolves on its own - no need to refresh.
Talk it out (Pro)
Not sure where to start? Choose Talk it out to begin a live conversational draft. FeedBoss asks a follow-up question, you answer by voice, and it asks the next one - building the page in real time as you speak.
- Each spoken answer is a turn. Record it, and FeedBoss transcribes, summarises, and routes the new points into the page.
- The Live Page Preview on the right fills in point by point as you talk.
- Follow-up questions appear as chips you can tap to focus your next turn, or regenerate for different prompts.
- When you’re happy, Save to knowledge base turns the draft into a permanent page. Until then it waits under the Conversations tab.
Working with a page
Open any page to read and refine it.
Points and sections
Points are grouped under section headings. Each point shows small numbered citation badges matching the Sources rail, so you can see at a glance which source backed it.
- Edit a point, click the pencil to rewrite it in your own words. Saving locks the point so automatic updates from new sources won’t change your wording.
- Lock / unlock, lock a point you want to freeze, or unlock it to let updates flow again.
Conflicts
When two sources say different things about the same idea, FeedBoss flags it with an amber banner (“Something doesn’t match - take a look”). Open the resolver to:
- See the contested points side by side.
- Pick the version that’s correct (or type the right one yourself).
- Choose which section it belongs in.
The version you keep is locked, so later updates won’t overwrite your decision.
Sources
The Sources rail lists every source filed on the page, each with an ordinal number, a type icon, and a title. From here you can:
- Open the original (when the source has a link).
- Move a source to another page if it was filed in the wrong place. If moving it leaves its old page empty, that page is archived automatically.
Topics, archive, and generate
- Tag a topic, use the topic chip in the page header to assign, change, or create a topic. Manage all topics (rename, recolour, delete) from the topic bar; you can keep up to 20.
- Archive, remove a page from your main library without deleting it. Archived pages live under the Archived tab and can be restored or permanently deleted.
- Generate post, jump straight into the post generator with the page pre-pinned as context.
Library views
The Knowledge Base header has three tabs:
- All pages, your active library, sortable by Recent, A–Z, or Most points, and filterable by topic.
- Conversations, in-progress talk-it-out drafts waiting to be saved.
- Archived, pages you’ve set aside.
Reusing your knowledge
This is the point of the whole feature. Wherever FeedBoss generates content - the post generator, the Image Studio, carousels, and chat - your pages can feed in as context. The result is grounded in points you actually wrote or said, and each draft shows citations for the pages it drew from, so you can trace any line back to its source.
Tips
- Record rough, refine later. A messy voice memo is fine - FeedBoss extracts the points, and you can edit and lock the ones that matter.
- Lock the lines you care about. Once a point is phrased exactly how you want it, editing it locks it, so adding more sources won’t disturb your wording.
- Use topics early. Tagging pages as you go keeps a growing library navigable and helps the right context surface when you create content.
- Talk it out for fuzzy ideas. When you only half-know what you think, the follow-up questions draw out detail a single recording would miss.
